Overview

Shinichiro, a certified public accountant, enjoyed a comfortable life with a successful career and a stable family—yet he remained deeply dissatisfied with his sex life with his wife, Shoko, who engaged in intimacy solely for the purpose of procreation. One day, through a chance encounter, Shoko meets a woman named Mika. As the couple begins to grow suspicious that the other might be having an affair, Mika ends up moving into their home. Before long, they discover the truth: that when she was in high school, Mika had been raped by her stepfather—an event that led her to set fire to her own family home…
