The series of six weekly episodes began broadcasting on 11 February 2005 on Channel 4. Vicious satire somehow simultaneously attuned to the time of its creation, yet also astonishingly prescient. It has aged extremely well in our world full to the brim of people who have nothing to say, hollering to be heard. The brilliance of the show lies perhaps in the juxtaposition of Chris Morris and Charlie Brooker's unique voices. Brooker identifies the disease; Morris makes you feel its symptoms. Highly recommended to lovers of satire who appreciate a little depth.
