Sinopsis
El escenario es una granja regentada por dos hermanas. Una compañía eléctrica quiere construir una presa, lo cual exigirá inundar muchas granjas, Si Kate vende, todo el mundo venderá, si Kate se niega, el resto de la ciudad se negará también. Randolph Scott se reúne con la bella hermana de Kate, Sally Blane, en un baile. Randolph Scott es un agente de la compañía eléctrica. Kate piensa que sólo quiere estar con Sally; Sally cree que él realmente le gusta. Randolph llega a la granja y parece atraer a Kate. Kate sigue sin estar convencida sobre la venta, pero se enamora de Randolph.
